Then, he began writing screenplays and directing films. His first work was to adapt the play Romeo and Juliet. After that, he wrote screenplays for several comic book movies.
He has written Scooby-Doo (2002), The Belko Experiment (2017), and Guardians of the Galaxy (2015, 2014, 2012, 2011). In addition, he is also known for his work on Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War (2017) and Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 (2017). Currently, he is married to actress Jennifer Holland.
